Tooling for airplane wings manufacture and repair

Hidden defects are the most insidious in an aircraft repair.

Hidden defect is a defect which cannot be identified visually or by means of standard inspection or diagnostic ways, but found during maintenance or with special diagnostic means.

The definition of a hidden defect shows expressly that in order to find such defects not only thorough inspection must be performed, but what is more important, you must know product design and its manufacturing process, have knowledge and skills to work with the products which have been used in different operational conditions.
